Pardubice Airport is a military airport with the status of a public international airport and an important transport gateway to Eastern Bohemia. The civil part of the airport is operated by East Bohemian Airport a.s. — EBA.
Civil operations began in 1995. Since then, the airport has undergone significant modernisation, symbolised mainly by the modern Jan Kašpar Terminal, where passenger check-in and most departure and arrival services take place.
Thanks to its strategic location with connections to both road and rail networks, Pardubice Airport serves as an efficient regional airport for passengers, travel agencies and business partners.
The airport has a runway measuring 2,500 m × 75 m, enabling the handling of a wide range of modern aircraft.
Airport operations are carried out in close cooperation with the Army of the Czech Republic.
One of the airport’s most important buildings is the Jan Kašpar Terminal. Construction began in the second quarter of 2016, and the first passengers were handled here on 30 January 2018.
Pardubice Airport connects the region with holiday and scheduled flights while also providing facilities for other forms of air traffic.
